Chinese/Norwegian fortune cookie box

Here we have another project i think turned out well. We were assigned to “package ourselves” (when we heard that, we became all ecstatic talking about how foil wrapper, paper, tape etc would be cool) but then realized that he meant a box… not pack ourselves…

Anyways i chose to create a fortune cookie box that in-cooperates the Norwegian flag colors on it. All the ingredients, barcode #’s, logo, etc has some sort of information that is relevant to me as a person. I really like how the takeout box turned out, the acetate window really did it for me imo. Here are some pictures of it.

That was one of the things i wanted to do with the fortune, to carefully open them and put my own fortune inside somehow but i kinda realized that it was unhygienic and more importantly, it would take a lot of time… And since this was only a one week project, i gave up on that idea pretty fast :P

Wow, I really like the look of the crisp acetate window with the slim border and stripes. Was there any special significance to the fortune cookies themselves? It would be great to affix statements to the little pieces of paper.
